How much does it cost to train with you?

The introductory training path costs $365-$565 depending on format and location. This includes two components:

• The prerequisite online course through People Dancing (US $165)
• An in-person or online workshop (US $200-$400)

Advanced training workshops cost (US $350-$450)

Certification (US $1,500). Please note that certification is optional. Howeer, only certified teachers are licensed to use the Dance for PD trademark and brand in marketing their classes.

Dance for PD is committed to offering access to training to all qualified teaching artists, regardless of financial means. We offer partial need- and merit-based scholarships upon request and fellowships through the Stanley J. Wertheimer Fellowship program. The Fellowship provides tuition-free in-person introductory and advanced training for up to two years. 

The online course and certification are not covered by the Fellowship, though it does provide a reduced rate for both. The Fellowship also does not cover any costs related to travel, room and board to attend a training workshop.
